How to Read This Design
Each ring represents a year, divided into twelve monthly sectors. Brighter sectors indicate more publications in that month.
Method
Publication records are grouped by year and month. Sector opacity encodes counts, while the accompanying drawer lists papers for the selected year.
Keep in Mind
Publication dates describe release activity, not when the underlying research took place. Missing or incomplete dates can affect the pattern.
